She either plays with it while it's "buzzing", or waits till it stops automatically before dragging it down & halfway covering it. ;)  (my other heating pad-she drags all over the house sometimes-usually when I'm gone more than a few hours..along with switching on the TV, changing radio stations on computer, getting into pantry and pushing cans off the shelves, etc. And YES...she usually jumps into the shower with me-at least for the first minute or so. ;)  YES, those are her ducks-in the summer, I'll put an inch or so in the tub-and she plays and cools off.  OK folks-THAT is my Incredible, Irreplaceable, SPOILED Rotten, (and deserves EVERY second of it!!), Loving Princess.  And while I'm on disability and a very tight budget-at this point, I'd probably take care of her before myself. ;) And THIS from someone who despised cats-UNLESS they stayed outside and out of sight and smell.  Go figure? ;) OH--lol, and YES, I actually have 3, absolutely incredible children-1 worked her way through & finished college, working and singing at benefits, my younger daughter who is kind of following in Mom's footsteps-finishing the Paramedic A.S.program, working FT in the ER, engaged to a wonderful guy, and an also active volunteer and my youngest, my son.  CJ is my not-so-little twin anymore, (has the exact expression as me with our genetic disorder), is also a FT student, working FT, active in the Progressive movement and helping the native people of the beautiful island he and his wonderful girlfriend study, work and live on, to try and STOP an uninvited "invasion" of Blackwater and 4 times the US troops the military had originally announced.  In other words-according to psycho sBeck-he's a wonderful, compassionate, Commie Progressive, and damned Proud of it!!  (Just on the minute chance psycho ever were to join this site-I REALLY hate to break the news to him, but, my children & all of their friends kinda blatantly contradict his description of what horrible, lazy, worthless, greedy monsters our future generation has grown into!!!  Sorry-I REALLY resented that 30min rant he gave several weeks ago) SO-enjoy my "Human" children's pics-cuz they also keep Mom alive--and Proud as HELL!! ;) Actually-this is a combo heating pad-massager. This was a warm night, so she let me pull the sheet down a bit. Everytime my Dad, brother or children mail me something-SITA also gets a "Surprise".  As a result-EVERY box that comes-it's like a small child at Christmas.  I call the little "stuffed" mice, frogs, etc. her "friends".  Her favorite is actually her little "puppy"-she gathers her "friends" every few days, puts them in a plastic bag she steals from my pantry, (NONE of my doors shut completely-the building is uneven), and carries them around the apt.  She also has been putting a couple of cookies, (she has 2 cookie dishes-one in our room, one on her "table" in the kitchen), in the bag recently-"giving puppy treats?"  I didn't think Cats could figure this stuff out-but all notions of what cats are capable of have flown out the window with this one...;)  She will also carry her puppy up onto HER windowsill during warmer days when I have it open.  NO, she doesn't watch bird like normal calts-she races up there only when she hears PEOPLE. Although she's fairly shy with new people, once she gets to know you-watch out!!  One of these days I'll get new batteries for my camera & take pics of her "attacking" the elderly men who deliver my groceries and prescriptions.  NO, NOT "attack" in a bad way-she smothers them with purrs, kisses and rubs.  Well, Mr. Bob, (groceries), she likes to "take" the bags away from him-usually the light one he puts her cookies in. ;)  She then puts on her "show"-rolling over, or "pretty girl", "fetching", the "high jump". OK fetching.  Yet another way this incredible critter helps me out.  Her "main games" are fetch and a version of soccer WE play with pooball.  this is the ONLY ball she'll play with.  All it is is foil, pressed really tightly into a ball.  My son suggested a goal, so-mom gets some much needed-albeit VERY painful at times, (although she seems to be able to sense when I'm having a bad day and is satisfied with me throwing it from where I am, and she brings it right back to me.  She also helps with my stretchy band-giving me tension, and some other things we've made up that she enjoys and actually works as physical therapy for me!! One more thing about people-my uncle.  Uncle Bob comes to visit a couple of times a year and it took a couple of visits before we realized what was spooking her about him.  As long as he's dressed in "regular" clothes-she's fine.  BUT, when he puts on his black pants, shirt and collar-she wants nothing to do with him.  Uncle Bob is a Catholic Priest. (who I actually convinced to listen to Thom!!! :)  She also reacts weird when he settles into the recliner to read the bible???  Most of the time when he's reading, she bugs the daylights out of him, swatting the book/paper and running away-playing.  After she smelled the Bible-she actually jumped back, with her hair standing up-and again, will have nothing to do with him.  She'll occasionally peek around the corner at him-but she sees that Bible and runs back into our room.  heheee,...I'll leave that one alone, just in case he ends up reading this.  ALTHOUGH-she's perfectly FINE with my Buddhist books, figures, malas....? ;)  (She's even worn a wrist Mala around her neck-I adjusted it-when we've gone down to the Yoga Cafe together...:)   yes, that pic is how she sleeps at night-one front paw ends up on my chest, one leg on my belly. Everytime my Dad, brother or children mail me something-SITA also gets a "Surprise".  As a result-EVERY box that comes-it's like a small child at Christmas.  I call the little "stuffed" mice, frogs, etc. her "friends".  Her favorite is actually her little "puppy"-she gathers her "friends" every few days, puts them in a plastic bag she steals from my pantry, (NONE of my doors shut completely-the building is uneven), and carries them around the apt.  She also has been putting a couple of cookies, (she has 2 cookie dishes-one in our room, one on her "table" in the kitchen), in the bag recently-"giving puppy treats?"  I didn't think Cats could figure this stuff out-but all notions of what cats are capable of have flown out the window with this one...;)  She will also carry her puppy up onto HER windowsill during warmer days when I have it open.  NO, she doesn't watch bird like normal calts-she races up there only when she hears PEOPLE. Although she's fairly shy with new people, once she gets to know you-watch out!!  One of these days I'll get new batteries for my camera & take pics of her "attacking" the elderly men who deliver my groceries and prescriptions.  NO, NOT "attack" in a bad way-she smothers them with purrs, kisses and rubs.  Well, Mr. Bob, (groceries), she likes to "take" the bags away from him-usually the light one he puts her cookies in. ;)  She then puts on her "show"-rolling over, or "pretty girl", "fetching", the "high jump". OK fetching.  Yet another way this incredible critter helps me out.  Her "main games" are fetch and a version of soccer WE play with pooball.  this is the ONLY ball she'll play with.  All it is is foil, pressed really tightly into a ball.  My son suggested a goal, so-mom gets some much needed-albeit VERY painful at times, (although she seems to be able to sense when I'm having a bad day and is satisfied with me throwing it from where I am, and she brings it right back to me.  She also helps with my stretchy band-giving me tension, and some other things we've made up that she enjoys and actually works as physical therapy for me!! One more thing about people-my uncle.  Uncle Bob comes to visit a couple of times a year and it took a couple of visits before we realized what was spooking her about him.  As long as he's dressed in "regular" clothes-she's fine.  BUT, when he puts on his black pants, shirt and collar-she wants nothing to do with him.  Uncle Bob is a Catholic Priest. (YES, we actually HAD twitter back then-in fact we had been on it for about a year by this time, already had used it for a hurricane down South.).  Sri Bhaskar, his wife and children were huddled in one room in the center of their home for almost 2 days until the area had been "cleared".  While I was watching it on this computer, I was tweeting from another.  I needed to get up and use the rest room, refresh my chai-and I jokingly "asked" Sita to keep an eye on what was going on for me.  Those two pics were taken when I got back-I saw her from around the corner, grabbed my camera from the other room, and snapped the pics.  And YES, her paw was on the touch pad and she was scrolling up and down.  I sent bhaskar the pic and a tweet explaining it.  As it got closer to the end of the situation, Bhaskar called to tell me that Sita's pics had made them all laugh in a time of heartbreak, fear and the unknown.  About 2hrs later, I got a call from IBN-a reporter had gone into Bhaskars home and brought them some food and water-let them know more about what was happening outside, that they had almost finished clearing the area.  Sri Bhaskar told the reporter about Sita and I, and he gave her my number because she wanted to show it on the air.  In order to do it, "legally", I uploaded it to iReports, and they broadcast it on IBN several hours later. Unfortunately, I missed it.  I guess I'm getting old-can't stay up for 58hrs like I used to. ;)  A friend here said it was also on CNN HLN-but I didn't even know that it was coming on.   It wasn't long after this that my Dad and brother bought me the netbook to replace my old desktop on it's last legs and so my Sita could have her own computer to watch her videos.
