      <title>The emerging Corporatocracy</title>
      <link>http://community.thomhartmann.com/_The-emerging-Corporatocracy/BLOG/2157064/93519.html</link>
      <description>This policy was recently added by the company where I work:&#xD;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; "Searches at work:&#xD;
 There is no general or specific expectation of privacy in the workplace of XXXXX. &amp;nbsp;...All employees and all of the following areas: bags, purses, briefcases, backpacks, lunch boxes, desk, file cabinet, closet , computer files, lockers and personal vehicles are subject to search at any time. ...Searches may be done on a random basis.....from time to time and without prior announcement, inspections or searches may be made of anyone entering, leaving or on the premises of property of XXXXX.&#xD;
 No employee will be physically forced to submit to a search, however, an employee who refuses to submit to search will face disciplinary action, up to and possibly including termination of employment."&#xD;
This is from a small company in the United States of America- the one I work for and I am sure it is not the only one with this policy. &amp;nbsp;&#xD;
The corporatocracy is emerging.&#xD;
